Bible in a Year Reading Plan

What: We'll read through the entire Bible this year in about 20 minutes a day.

Who: All are welcome! If you've never opened a Bible before or if you have been reading it for years, everyone's invited.

When: Begins Monday, September 7th, 2020. By May 29th, 2021, we will have read the entire Bible.

Scroll down to see the 5 quick steps to get started

Step 1: Print the Reading Plan

Print out and keep as a bookmark in your Bible with the verses for each day to keep track. Or if you prefer to go digital and you want to read using the Bible App on your phone, Step 3 will show you how!

Step 3: Download the Bible App

If your phone is always with you, the reading plan is on this free Bible App and it keeps track of what you have read and checks off each day for you. I love to use this app because you can listen to the Bible on audio (like a podcast), and even adjust the speed to be faster or slower.

Click the button below and it will bring you to the app store or open your app (if you have it already) and you can start the plan.

Download the Bible App & you'll be added to the reading plan here!

Step 4:

Join the Facebook Group for encouragement, accountability, and stories of God's faithfulness. There are 25,000 members in this group who value reading the Bible daily.

Step 5: Watch this quick tutorial video I made you showing how to use the Bible App with our reading plan! It's so simple :)

Step 6: Watch these quick videos to understand the mindset and the focus of this reading plan before you get started. The videos are very encouraging, especially if you feel intimidated or nervous to start this reading plan:

You're all set! Once you've downloaded the Bible app and accepted the invitation to the reading plan, check back in the app on September 7th, and we'll begin!

  • I recommend picking a time of the day when you think this will fit into your normal routine. In the settings of the app, you can set a reminder for that time of day and you'll get a notification on your phone. When you open the notification, it will take you straight to the reading plan!
  • I enjoy listening to it on audio. Sometimes I listen to the audio Bible while I get ready in the morning or while I get ready for bed. Sometimes I listen with my 19 month old son while he eats his lunch or while he is playing. That way, we both are hearing truth together :) Plus, I am due with baby #2 in mid-October, so I'll have my hands full, so listening on audio will be helpful in this season of life!
